About us

About us

Our practice was established in 2009 and is a fully accredited medical practice. We have a team of Doctors, Nurses and Administrative staff committed to your on-going health care. We are situated on the outside of the Woolworths Shopping Centre at Warabrook in Angophora Drive.
 
There is ample parking, with several disabled car spaces. There is access for both wheelchairs and prams.
 
There is also a bus stop situated out the front of the shopping complex.
 
Our doctors are affiliated with GP Synergy in the training of GP registrars and the University of Newcastle with the teaching of medical students.

Our Doctors

Dr Steven Kelly
 
Dr Steven Kelly is our owner and Principal GP. He graduated Newcastle University in 1998. He Joined the Warabrook Practice in 2006 and became the owner in March 2009. 

Steve has a special interest in men's health, workers compensation and transgender medicine.
 
Dr June Chung
 
June  has been in General Practice for over 20 years, including working with her father in Tighes Hill prior to joining Dr Wall at Mayfield and then moved with the surgery to Warabrook.
 
June has a special interest in women's health, antenatal care and paediatrics. It is rewarding for June to care for patients over a period and watch their children grow.
 
Dr Rachelle Considine
 
Rachelle grew up in rural Victoria and moved to Newcastle 13 years ago. She studied medicine at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2007.
 
Rachelle has a keen interest in child and adolescent health, after completing 5 years of specialist training in paediatrics through the John Hunter Children's Hospital.
 
She lives locally with her rescue greyhounds and has a passion for modern quilting.
  Dr Natalie Yeung Natalie is our current registrar and has a special interest in chronic disease management and palliative care. She is a bright and welcome addition to the Warabrook team this term.
